On the performance side, the Yamaha YZF-R3 will continue to use the 321cc, parallel-twin, four-valve engine that makes 41.9hp at 10,750 rpm and 29.6 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. This engine is combined with a six-speed gearbox. The Yamaha R3 is available in ABS and non-ABS versions in the United States. We would like to see if Yamaha considers it appropriate to offer Indian customers ABS, at least as a choice, this time.

We believe that Yamaha could launch the R3 shortly in India, perhaps even before the start of 2018.

The most prominent, split headlights seem sharper and are likely to get LED treatment. R3 Yamaha Features There is also an air intake between the headlights, similar to the R6 and the R15 V3. However, it must be seen if the air intake offers functionality unlike the R15. Even the hull seems to have received revisions for a sharper appearance. The spy images also reveal USD gold finished forks on the R25 2019 that replace the telescopic forks in the front of the current version.

The new generation of the Yamaha R25 should also have radially mounted brake calipers, while the semi-digital instrument console of the current version could be replaced in favor of a complete LCD unit. The 250cc twin-cylinder parallel engine will probably remain the same, but it will probably come with more technology on board, including VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology. The current model produces 35 hp and 22.1 Nm of maximum torque. While it can be expected that the power figures see an increase, it is also expected that the acceleration times will be reduced
